Strictly prevent the risks of "vacuum pumping with liquid" and material loading
Core risk: If the raspberry pulp or flesh is not fully pre frozen to a hard solid state before being sent to the freeze-drying bin and the vacuum pump is turned on, the residual liquid water inside the material will instantly boil and splash in a low-pressure environment (i.e. "spray bottle" or "wash material"). This not only leads to the loss of active ingredients in raspberries and the scrapping of the entire batch, but also contaminates the cold trap, clogs the vacuum pipeline, and even damages the vacuum pump due to the splashing liquid.
Safety operation specifications:
Thoroughly pre frozen: Raspberry material must undergo strict pre freezing treatment to ensure that the center temperature is below its eutectic point (usually pre frozen to below -35 ℃ to -40 ℃), and it can only be stored in a completely hard solid state.
Standardized loading: During loading, materials should be evenly spread on the pallet, with a thickness generally controlled within 10mm. Overstacking or exceeding the edge of the pallet is strictly prohibited to prevent material collapse and dripping during the sublimation process. It is strictly prohibited to use ordinary glass or other containers that are not resistant to low temperatures or vacuum to contain raspberries, in order to avoid danger caused by low-temperature cracking.
2. Strictly control the risk of low-temperature frostbite and misoperation during operation
Core risk: The temperature of the freeze dryer's cold trap and low-temperature pipeline is extremely low (usually below -50 ℃), and direct contact can cause serious skin frostbite; At the same time, if the equipment operates in a vacuum state and opens the cabin door illegally or quickly breaks the air, it may cause air to rush in instantly, which may lead to material scattering, abnormal frost formation in the cold trap, and even damage to the equipment seal.
Safety operation specifications:
Personal protection: When loading pre frozen raspberries or cleaning cold traps, operators must wear low-temperature resistant anti freezing gloves and goggles. It is strictly prohibited to touch the inner walls, shelves, and low-temperature metal pipelines of the cold trap with bare hands.
Operating taboos: During equipment operation, it is strictly prohibited to forcefully open the freeze-drying door or disassemble vacuum components. If there is a sudden power outage, the vacuum valve must be manually closed as soon as possible to prevent the vacuum pump oil from backsucking and contaminating the raspberry material.
3. Standardize the safety of shutdown, emptying, and moisture prevention during discharge
Core risk: After freeze-drying, raspberries appear as porous sponges with strong moisture absorption. If the air breaking speed is too fast, the high-speed airflow will blow away the dry raspberry powder, causing material loss and cross contamination; If not sealed in a timely manner after discharge, raspberries will quickly absorb moisture from the air (especially in humid environments), leading to moisture regain, clumping, and spoilage.
Safety operation specifications:
Slowly emptying: After the freeze-drying process is completed, the vacuum valve must be closed first, and then the release valve (inflation valve) must be opened extremely slowly to allow the pressure inside the drying chamber to steadily return to normal pressure. Only after confirming that the vacuum gauge is zero can the cabin door be opened.
Quick sealing: After the cabin door is opened, the freeze-dried raspberries should be quickly removed and immediately sealed in a low humidity environment (such as nitrogen filled packaging or aluminum foil bag sealing) to avoid prolonged exposure to air and moisture absorption failure of the finished product.
