Operation steps and lyophilization process of vacuum freeze dryer
Vacuum freeze dryer is a kind of drying equipment that uses the moisture in the material to be removed in the form of condensate. After lyophilization, the material can retain the active ingredient while reducing the volume and weight, extending the storage cycle, and making it easy to store and transport. There are many people who do not know much about this equipment, so I will talk about its operation steps and briefly introduce the freeze-drying process.
Vacuum freeze dryer Procedure
1. Material handling. Substances that need to be dried are subjected to initial treatment, such as shredding, analysis, etc., weighed, and the quality is recorded.
2. Put the materials into a bag. Divide the treated substances into suitable bags, and mark the name, batch number, weight, packaging time and other information of the substance on the bag.
3. Put it in a vacuum freeze dryer. The bag containing the substance is welded and placed in a vacuum freeze dryer.
4. Pretreatment. Start the device and set preset parameters for preprocessing.
5. Cooling. When the contents of the bag are frozen, the vacuum pump is activated to expel the condensate.
6. Vacuum drying. To start vacuum drying, it is necessary to adjust the freezing temperature, vacuum degree, heating rate, group and other parameters according to the properties and requirements of the material until the drying standard is reached.
7. Bonding and sealing. When drying is over, remove the bag from the vacuum chamber and glue the bag together, trim the edges and weld the closure at the mouth, or use a plug to seal it on the bag. Divide and label the closed bags.
Operation steps and lyophilization process of vacuum freeze dryer
Vacuum freeze dryer process
1. Freezing. The material to be dried is frozen in a vacuum chamber to solidify the moisture in it into ice, reduce the condensation generated during drying, and ensure the quality and performance of the material.
2. Vacuum. Freeze-drying is achieved by removing the water from the ice in a vacuum.
3. Drying and heating. For hygroscopic substances, it is necessary to heat and freeze to convert solid moisture into gaseous moisture to improve the lyophilization speed.
4. Drying time. The setting of the drying time of the vacuum freeze dryer is determined by factors such as the size and shape of the material, as well as the size and model of the bag. In general, the higher the requirement for the drying time of the substance, the longer the drying time.
5. Lyophilization quality measurement. After lyophilization, the lyophilization quality is measured. The contents of the measurement include the amount of moisture, internal structure, etc.
6. Result analysis. Results analysis and statistics are performed based on the measurement results. If the results are not satisfactory, you can try to readjust the parameters and repeat the drying operation.
7. Storage. The lyophilized material has good durability and can be stored for a long time, and it is necessary to pay attention to airtight sealing when preserving, and the composition of each sealed bag must be clearly marked when sealing.
Understanding the lyophilization process and mastering the operating steps of a vacuum freeze dryer is a very important prerequisite for lyophilization. Through the implementation of standardized operation procedures, the advantages of the equipment can be fully utilized to achieve high-quality freeze-drying effect and long-term effective storage of materials.
